"To my great satisfaction I can now conclude that the project has been a success. We have increased machine utilisation and our start-up efficiencies. We have created a focus on wasted resources and we have made noticeable progress managerially, with managers at all levels going though a process to agree values and standards. This has created a shared understanding of the company's foundations and perspectives into the future. We have developed metrics and follow-up tools to track labour cost-effectiveness, waste, maintenance costs etc as well as developing a set of KPI's (Key Performance Indicators), which are the basis for global planning of the whole business.
